When Jake moved into his new apartment there was a cute kitty living outside who loved to follow us around. I love animals and would have adopted the poor thing on the spot if either of us were allowed to have pets in our apartments, but sadly we aren't.
When it started getting colder in Logan, Jake and I were both feeling worse and worse about not being able to do anything for her. So we invited her in to get warm and have some milk and called the humane society. She was feisty but still sweet. She wasn't wild at all. But she was having trouble breathing and the guy who came to get here said she probably had a cold.
The whole event was sad and stressful but we still had lots of fun with her for the couple hours she was ours and hope that soon we can get a pet for real.
