Really warm january

I heard birds chirping outside the window this morning like it was springtime or something crazy like that. Up here in northern Utah January is generally really cold. Often in the negatives at night (reminds me of Minnesota a little). I took these pictures this time last year.

and I'm not going to show any pictures of what it looks like this year. Without the snow everything just looks gross and dead and I hate that.
One day last week was 45 and sunny. What a tease Utah. I can't wait for the warm weather to be back. But it will undoubtably get cold again before that happens. :(
